Beverly’s sits on the seventh floor of The Coeur d’Alene Resort, and the setting does what it’s supposed to do: it feels downright special. The dining room is sleek, the kitchen is open, and the pacing leans toward classic fine dining.
Chef Jim Barrett’s menu starts with a caesar salad with house garlic croutons, then moves into a saffron-infused lobster bisque finished with truffle foam and herb oil. From there, the menu toggles between comfort and polish: truffle fried chicken served with glazed Brussels sprouts, whipped Yukon Gold potatoes, and a bacon-scallion biscuit, plus truffle honey butter; an eight-ounce steak burger on a pretzel bun with yuzu garlic aioli; and a striploin surf-and-turf that pairs a New York strip with a prawn skewer.
The wine program is a main character here, with a cellar measured in five digits of bottles and a room designed to show it off. In the lounge, happy hour keeps things simple and effective: truffle Parmesan fries and a dirty martini with blue cheese olives.
